If you can present a product that attracts multiple interested parties, you’ll have the ingredients to get those crazy offers that every single one of us has experienced in the last 3 years.
Now, I’m not going to insult your intelligence and list all the boring things for you to do like de-cluttering, painting, landscaping, clean the gutters etc. These are the basic 101’s of ‘How to get ready to sell your home’.
Instead, I want you to try this exercise. Go to your letterbox and close your eyes. Think about all the times you’ve walked through a home open and in your own minds eye, cringed and critiqued all the things they should have completed before even opening their home to the public! Now, with this in mind and putting aside your ownership, walk through your home with that same eye. Can you see those little things that you’ve put off for years? Said ‘the new owners will want to do their own thing’. Thought ‘The market is so hot that someone will buy it anyway’.
Well, these are the things that will stop you getting those crazy offers!
