The City of Kalamunda has also released a first and final notice to landlords advising of the liability surrounding fire hazard reduction. As a landlord, it’s imperative you undertake the required works to minimise this risk prior to the cut-off date of 1st November 2022. Some important things to be reminded of are maintenance surrounding fire breaks, removal of dead and flammable material and gutter cleaning.
